Creating Curious Inquirers: Harnessing Student Curiosity Toward Greater Success In-Person

(edWeb)

Nothing motivates students more than their own curiosity! Inquiry-based learning gives K-12 students voice and choice in learning that sparks deeper understanding and engagement. Join Dr. Leslie Maniotes, author and senior consultant from BLV Consulting, in this edWebinar where she’ll introduce you to Guided Inquiry Design (GID), a research-backed instructional design for inquiry-based learning founded at Rutgers University.

Launch your students on a path to asking their own questions and building on their curiosities and interests across all subject areas. Using Britannica digital resources, learn best practices to keep students engaged in their learning. This session will benefit K12 teachers, librarians, administrators, curriculum directors, and department heads, especially in the areas of social studies, science, and ELA. There will be time for questions after the event.
