Building Excitement About Summer Learning Videoconference In-Person

During this 1 1/2 hour long videoconference, we will discuss Libraries at Center of Summer Learning And Fun: an Online Toolkit to Expand from Summer Reading to Summer Learning (see link below).  We will also participate in a fun STEM activity. Kevin Thacker of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History will demonstrate STEM in Action: Scribblebots. During this hands-on activity librarians will be engaging in an activity they may want to include in their own summer reading program. At the conclusion of the videoconference there will be time for librarians to share their summer learning activities, program ideas and tips, tricks or techniques.
