Empowering Readers with Tech Tools In-Person

(edWeb)

When teaching elementary schoolers, it’s important to make your lessons engaging and relevant for them. But it’s also important that the tech you use for this purpose feels essential to you and your goals. Don’t settle for what’s available. Think outside the box and go try something new!

During this edWebinar, you will hear from Katherine Bush, 10-year veteran and fourth grade teacher in Maury County Public Schools as she shares how she adapted existing reading practices and gave them a modern “makeover” leveraging technology to engage all students. Katherine’s presentation will provide many valuable tips for you to use with your own students, including:

  • Examples of reading tech tools she uses in her classroom
  • How she has integrated these tools into her lesson plans
  • How she aligned the tools to standards while driving student achievement

All educators looking for ways to integrate technology into their reading will benefit from the real-world experience from this veteran teacher. There will be time to ask questions after Katherine’s presentation. Join us to learn how to empower the readers in your classroom with tech tools!
