Representing the Rainbow in Young Adult Literature In-Person

Michael Cart and Christine Jenkins, co-authors of Representing the Rainbow in Young Adult Literature: LGBTQ+ Content since 1969, published this April, will discuss lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender literature for young adults. While they will give some attention to the recent history of the field, they will focus principally on the best of the current LGBT books, including fiction, nonfiction, and graphic novels. This free, hour-long webinar will be moderated by Booklist’s Julia Smith, associate editor, Books for Youth, will moderate.
