During this webinar, Janet Madsen (Alaska State Library School Library Coordinator), Julie Niederhauser (Alaska State Library Public Library Coordinator) and Ann Morgester (Anchorage School District Coordinator) will explore reading scores in Alaska, how poverty affects student learning, and how partnership between public libraries and public schools can help low-income children become more proficient readers.
